I created a fake version of myself, which meant that I never had to tell anyone the truth. This destructive cycle continued for over a decade.
It wasn’t until I was intercepted by a charity campaign by Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), whilst at the same time as joining a new employer, that I started to share my story. I started to realise the impact that this could have. This single moment kick-started a chain of events that led to me becoming fixated on the potential impact that the workplace could have in supporting the mental health of its employees.
Up until this point I had led the roll out of mental health first aid at Mars, a business of over 120,000 people. During my time at Mars, I also led on mental health brand campaigns for KIND Snacks. In joining these two worlds together Corin & Co exists to provide mental health and wellbeing training and consultancy that is bespoke, and is delivered in the language and tone that is right for your business.
Working alongside me are a number of passionate, empathic, and truly amazing human beings. Both the central Corin & Co team and our extended expert associate team offer a wealth of professional knowledge and lived experience, that together ensure the highest quality in all of our work.
Beyond our training, many partners will work directly with me through advisory and consultation services on a range of topics, such as: suicide, bespoke educational sessions, EAP, charity partnerships, internal communications and ongoing MHFA support.
I speak on a range of topics all through a narrative of hope and kindness. Much of my speaking appearances are topics such as Suicide, Men’s Mental Health, Burnout or Mental Health in the Workplace.
I’m proud to have delivered talks for: Glamour Magazine, Deloitte, Reebok, This Can Happen, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, WH Smith and Marks & Spencer.
I’m open to sharing my story solo, as part of a panel or acting as a facilitator for a panel. I’m also a proud member of the Speakers Collective.
